ORI LIST - FDLE Level 2 

VSU LiveScan is an approved Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) submitter for applicants needing a Florida State Agency Level 2 Background Check Clearance. As a Livescan vendor that has been approved by the FDLE to submit fingerprints to the department, please ensure that the Originating Agency Identification (ORI) number is provided when you submit your fingerprints. If you do not provide an ORI number or if you provide an incorrect ORI number, the requesting regulatory agency will not receive your fingerprint results. 

WHERE DO I GET THE ORI CODE NEEDED?
The requesting state agency shall provide you with the ORI number. VSU LiveScan listed the most common ORIs below for the required submission.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify and provide the proper ORI number upon application request along with any necessary paperwork provided by the employer.  

FDLE will only retain the criminal results from applicants for a select amount of time from the date the fingerprints were rolled. Applicants should submit their applications soon after submitting their fingerprints in order to afford themselves an opportunity to resolve any application deficiencies prior to the expiration of the criminal history results.
